Student eligibility & application criteria

• Available only for the September 22, 2026 Practical Nursing class
• Not need-based
• Complete all CAHE Admissions requirements
• Complete the 2026–2027 FAFSA and any additional required financial aid documents
• Be a high school graduate or have a GED or recognized equivalent
• Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
• Remain in good academic standing and meet all applicable SAP requirements
• Accept all federal student aid for which you are eligible once the PN program becomes Title IV eligible
• Qualify by September 28, 2026

• 2.5% tuition scholarship when paying one payment periods' tuition obligation in full
• 3.5% tuition scholarship when paying two payment periods' tuition obligation in full
• Applicants must be currently enrolled and matriculating at CAHE
• Future financial obligations must be paid in full by the date designated by the Finance Department
• All prior balances need to be paid in full by the date designated by the Finance Department
• Federal Grants and Loans do not count toward payment in full for the scholarship if they have not been received by the date designated by the Finance Department

• Applicant must have graduated from CAHE within 12 months of starting a new program

• A) a full-time employee of CAHE, or
• B) a per diem employee who has been employed by CAHE for 10+ years
• Immediate family member is defined as mother, father, spouse, or child

• Provide a letter from human resources with their start date and employment status
• Applicant must be employed at the affiliate for at least one year
• Applicant must be in good standing and provide a letter from their supervisor/manager
• Applicant must be enrolled at CAHE
• Applicant must meet all entrance requirements for CAHE

• Applicants must be accepted into, applying to, or enrolled in a program at CAHE
• Must have an immediate family member (parent, guardian, sibling, child, or spouse) employed in a licensed healthcare role
• Applicants must demonstrate a household adjusted gross income under $300,000
• Must submit proof of family member's employment via an employment letter
• Must submit copy of family member's healthcare license
• Must submit proof of family member's relationship to the applicant
• Must submit documentation verifying applicant's household adjusted gross income is less than $300,000
• Must submit a short essay (250–500 words) on how having a healthcare worker in the family has influenced their career goals
