Career Services

Career Development Workshops are a co-curricular graduation requirement for all CAHE students.

Career Development Workshops

The Career Development Workshop series is designed to provide students with instruction and assistance with building their resumes, cover letters, and thank-you letters; as well as creating a LinkedIn profile, obtaining professional references, and creating a job search portfolio. Students will learn about the interview process and develop interviewing skills and strategies. Students may be provided with the opportunity to attend a mock interview or job fair. The Career Development Workshop series is a co-curricular graduation requirement for all students enrolled in CAHE.

Upon completion of the Workshops, students will:

  • Possess a resume and cover letter describing their educational and clinical experiences.
  • Be capable of writing an appropriate thank-you note or email as a follow-up to an interview.
  • Have an online professional profile on LinkedIn.
  • Understand the potential implications of their social media presence on their career.
  • Have a set of skills and strategies for interviewing, whether online or in person.

CAHE provides career development education and resources. Employment outcomes vary by program, market conditions, and individual qualifications. See individual program pages for available statistics where reported.
