How do I find out how much my program will cost? What is the refund policy?
Each program's tuition, fees and refund policy is published on the institution's website, as well as in the Institutional Catalog, Enrollment Agreement and other materials. We encourage any prospective students to review all financial-related program information and to contact the Financial Aid / Financial Services Department with any questions.
What kind of financial aid is available?
CAHE participates in Title IV Federal Financial Aid.

Which FAFSA should I complete?
- For programs beginning in November, February, and May: Please complete both the current academic year and upcoming academic year FAFSAs. You will need to use tax information from the two most recent tax years.
- For programs beginning in September: Please complete the upcoming academic year FAFSA using your most recent tax year information.
Am I tied in if I complete a FAFSA application?
No, a FAFSA is purely informational. Once CAHE receives your submitted FAFSA application, the financial aid department can inform you of your eligibility; however, you are not tied in or obligated to anything.
Will I need my parent's info?
If you are a dependent student, you will need to provide parental information.
Determine Your Dependency StatusWhat is the maximum Pell Grant that I can receive?
The Maximum Pell grant for 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 is $7,395.
How much am I eligible for?
The Financial Aid Department will determine your eligibility after completing the review of your processed FAFSA.
What is the current interest rate on Federal Direct Loans?
- Subsidized and Unsubsidized student loans: 6.39%*
- Parent PLUS loan for parents of dependent students: 8.94%*
*As of July 1, 2025
How long will it take the Financial Aid department to get back to me?
The financial aid department may take up to a week to get back to you upon submission of your FAFSA application.

After you complete your FAFSA, our Financial Aid Office will send you a FA Offer/College Financing Plan, or a request for additional information via email. The email will outline the steps needed to move forward with the financial aid process.
