MEDICAL DOSIMETRY PROGRAM
Classes and clinical rotations may be scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Make-up sessions may be scheduled on Sundays. Virtual evening hours may be scheduled until 8:00 p.m. Class schedules are subject to change. Clinical rotation schedules are based on the shifts of each affiliated educational setting and are subject to change.
Pathway A (5 Quarters) Begins: September 5, 2023
To qualify: Individuals must possess a bachelor’s degree and be registered radiation therapists.
Pathway B (6 Quarters) Begins: May 2024
To qualify: Individuals must possess a bachelor’s degree and not be a registered radiation therapist.
*Each quarter is ten weeks in length, with four quarters in an academic year. Students may be scheduled to be in class (remotely) or clinic (in-person) up to 5 days per week. Students may occasionally be required to come to the facility for exams. The Medical Dosimetry Program has clinical sites located throughout the New York metropolitan area. Students are placed randomly at a clinical site and are responsible for their own transportation to and from their assigned clinical site.
