A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT AND CEO OF CENTER FOR ALLIED HEALTH EDUCATION

03/16/2020

I would like to take this time to acknowledge the staff at Center for Allied Health Education (CAHE) for their tremendous efforts in ensuring that we continue to fully operate and provide our students with the quality of education that we constantly pride ourselves on. In such unforeseen times, I feel fortunate to surround myself with a team that, without exception, is firmly committed to professions that selflessly heal others and better our community.

With our robust remote learning technology and connectivity already in place, we can confidently report that all didactic courses for ALL programs will now be fully delivered in an online/distance learning format. The exception will be for certain labs that require specialized medical equipment to conduct. These skill labs will continue to be delivered in our building. Important news could be found on this blog about ED.

We have additionally adopted the following protocols, as the safety and well-being of the CAHE community continues to be of upmost priority:

  • Effective Monday, March 16th, all persons entering the building will be screened for fever and will be assessed for symptoms and exposure to the coronavirus.
  • Social distancing and limiting the number of individuals entering the building at once has become a priority and will be monitored accordingly.
  • Our facilities undergo frequent cleaning and disinfecting, in addition to normal cleaning routines.
  • Purell stations with adequate supply are located in all high traffic areas throughout the building.

As this is a constantly emerging situation, we are closely monitoring its development and will continue to provide frequent updates via email as well as on our website: https://www.cahe.edu/resources/covid-19

Wishing you all well during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

JERRY ROZENBERG, PA-C, EMT-P
