tuition & fees


The EMT-Basic Program is a one-semester program, consisting of 15 weeks of study for the daytime program and 21 weeks of study for the evening program. Tuition for the EMT-Basic program is $700.00. Additional program fees apply and are fully outlined below.


All fees are non-refundable. Fees for the academic year (2017-2019) are:
Upon Acceptance
With Submission of Enrollment Agreement Registration Fee $ 50.00
Prior to Week 5 Clinical /Lab Fee $ 250.00
Technology Fee $ 125.00
Uniform Fee $ 75.00

Explanation of Fees paid directly to CAHE:

Uniform Fee is used to provide students with a uniform including four polo shirts, one scrub top, one scrub pant, one lab coat and a sweatshirt.
Technology Fee is used to provide students with online learning resources, the learning management system, the student portal and the computerized library.
Clinical/ Lab Fee is used to cover the cost of student coverage under the Center's Malpractice/Liability insurance policy, to operate and maintain the student lab and to provide students with a variety of educational affiliated clinical internship sites.

Clinical Clearance:

Students are required to have a physical examination and be medically cleared by a private physician as well as have a criminal background check performed. The background check is done through a third-party company called CastleBranch. The clinical clearance fees are estimated at $250.00.

Estimated Textbook Cost:

Students are responsible to purchase required textbooks on their own. Textbook costs are estimated at $500.00.
