The CT Registry Prep Course recognizes the importance of didactic training, as well as the satisfaction of clinical competencies needed to be eligible to sit for and successfully pass the ARRT CT certification exam. The CT Registry Prep Course is designed to address that demand. The course schedule takes into consideration that most students will be employed while attending the program. As a result, all mandatory didactic requirements take place during evening hours and once a week.Additionally, students should be prepared to allocate approximately 1-2 hours/ week towards completing required homework/quiz assignments for each class.
Center for Allied Health Education has put into place several clinical affiliations to easily enable students to acquire some or all of the mandatory CT competencies to sit for the ARRT exam. Clinical rotations may be completed on weekdays or over the weekend. A full list of clinical sites and available shifts will be provided to registered students on the first day of class, as well as instructions on how to begin clinical rotations.Students who opt to complete their competencies choosing CAHE affiliated sites may begin their rotations during the program and have up to 6 months after the last day of class to utilize our clinical partnerships.
