SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY
CAHE’s Surgical Technology Program is accredited by The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
Accreditation is granted after a programmatic review and site visit. Recognition by ABHES qualifies the program’s graduates for eligibility to apply for and take the certification exam administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) to become a Certified Surgical Technologist.

Under ABHES Chapter III, Section A, Subsection 7(i) of the Accreditation Manual, the Center for Allied Health Education must submit a teach-out plan for the Surgical Technology program as the campus is not yet a degree-granting institution and is not currently issuing an Associate of Science degree in Surgical Technology.
